Roads of Borinquen: A Trip through Puerto Rico is a project of the Puerto Rican Endowment for the Humanities sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities as part of the We the People program. It consists of a DVD that has information, photos and cultural tourism routes for all of the towns on the island. The main purpose of the document is to highlight the culture, history, ecology, geography, architecture, and gastronomical customs of Puerto Rico. This bilingual project (Spanish and English) is intended to provide a pleasant way to learn more and provide a tool both to Puerto Ricans and to visitors as they plan their travels on the island. Additionally, the educational focus of the project is very useful for schools because of the variety of information on the socio-cultural diversity, geography, ecology and architecture that exists on the island. Copies of the DVD are available at the Endowment.
